Know thy universe

This book series presents a profound view of the universe, deeply rooted in Vedic cosmology. It describes the cosmos as a creation of the Supreme Being, where material and spiritual realities coexist. The universe is depicted as a vast, multi-layered structure known as the "Brahmāṇḍa" or cosmic egg, containing numerous planetary systems.

Time is cyclical, governed by yugas (ages), and creation undergoes repeated cycles of manifestation and dissolution. The creator through His expansions, orchestrates the creation, maintenance, and destruction of the universe.

Beyond the material realms lies the spiritual world, a place of eternal bliss, where liberated souls reside in loving devotion to the Creator. The Bhāgavatam emphasizes that true understanding of the universe arises not merely through observation, but through devotion, leading one beyond illusion (māyā) to realize the eternal reality.
